Ohhhh... it definitely does look like a floating dead baby just hanging around! Makes me feel a little better to know that it's not just Kii's imaginary baby friend accompanying him everywhere!
You start cameraman mode by pressing TAB, but I press F5 to get rid of the queue first. The controls are here (http://simpedia.co.uk/ts2/Cameraman_Mode). Took me forever to get a hang of it, but I couldn't imagine taking pictures without it now!
